My 13 year old Rottweiler is very sick, haven't been able to find out what's wrong with him yet.
There's a local vet that he goes to,who specializes in Rottweilers, used to breed and show them.
That's where Rocky goes whenever he needs shots,a,check-up whatever.
They are going to run some more tests, take some x-rays,and try to find the problem.
Due
to this-I will be spending a lot of time taking care of the dog,we may
end up having to put him down, which would really suck,he's been a great
dog, little kids rode him like a horse, grandkids rode him like a
horse, and he's never even growled at a kid.
He chased a local cop onto the top of his car,he had stopped by to
arrange a time for me to deliver a load of firewood to him,Rocky came
running full blast from behind the house-the cops eyes bugged out-then
the cop broke the light bar climbing up on his car-one of the funniest
things I've ever seen.
Rocky's not fat like
most older Rottweilers,he still tosses rocks, bricks and cinder blocks
around like they're nothing, runs back and forth full speed on his 50'
run, goes for hikes in the woods with me and/or the kids.
When he's outside playing in the woods,or tossing bricks
around-everything seems fine-then he tries to get up after he's been
sleeping-one of his hips keeps going out on him,and it hurts him, because
he whines-something he never did-not even after taking on a pack of
coyotes. he had to get a bunch of stitches after that one-but the 'yotes
never came back around the house.
He's
also puking a lot,and he knows he's not supposed to be pukin, pissin,or
shittin in the house-he looks like it upsets him,he hangs his head after
it happens.
He must think I'm mad at him-hell,I just want him to get better,I can mop up the puke-it's on hardwood floors.
Just don't want to see my buddy suffer-will get back to posting as soon
as we figure out what's wrong with Rocky, besides his hip.
