"ABC devoted an “episode of [its] prime time drama ‘Scandal to push [an] anti-gun agenda,” Hunter Roosevelt of Controversial Times reported Monday.
The fictional president in the show reportedly uses his State of the
Union address to compare the Second Amendment’s inclusion in the
Constitution to that of slavery, and parrots emotion-wrenching sound
bites straight out of the anti-gun playbook.
It's an old and reliable technique. Using popular entertainment as a
front for inserting blatant propaganda messages is reminiscent of a
similar move in which television shows were used to deviously push
Obamacare on audiences."
