Thanks to increased interest in the class,and enough people signing
up,the class will be held as planned on sat. March 12th in Sagamore
Hills,Ohio.
The deadline for signing up for the class is March 7th.
Those who have signed up will begin receiving material via e-mail on
March 7th ,instead of the original March 1st plan,this way
everyone gets the materials at the same time,and will still have 1 week
to go over the materials before class.
There’s only about 2-3 hours of “homework” in the material,the rest
is information related to storing foods,food prep,cooking,holding at
proper temperatures,and serving foods,so that those taking the class
will have the material for future use.
Additionally,there will be written descriptions of much of what we
will cover in class,so students have an understanding of the material
before class,and have a copy of much of the material for future use.
There will also be printed material handed out during class.
I will briefly go over the material that was sent via e-mail at the
beginning of class,to allow for any questions that anyone may have to be
answered.
I have added some material to the class,to be presented by one of the people helping me.
The most recent Serve Safe class material will be presented to give
everyone an idea of what is involved in the program,and why it is so
important to those working with food.
There is still time to sign up for class -and if need be,I can
increase class size as I now have another person to help teach the
class.
