Poachers Killed One of the Largest Elk in Pennsylvania History

"One of the largest bull elk ever recorded in Pennsylvania was killed illegally, along with two other elk, in Clearfield County in September. Three local men are being charged with “teaming in a poaching effort,” the Pennsylvania Game Commission announced yesterday.
In its statement, the Game Commission confirmed that the largest of the illegally harvested elk had a 10x9 non-typical rack that would have scored 432 7/8 inches B&C. It would have ranked as the third-largest bull elk in the state’s history. The other bulls were a 5x7 and a 4x5."

Hopefully they lose their right to hunt in every state-not sure how many states Pa has reciprocity with under the interstate wildlife violater compact-hopefully all of them.
After they serve at least 5 years in prison,and pay to replace the elk they poached,they should have to perform at least 1,000 hours of work for the game commission restoring and improving elk habitat,and help with any wildlife conservation efforts the game commission needs help with.if they don't do the work-make them serve 1 day in jail for every hour of work the do not perform. Their rifle should be confiscated,as should the truck they were using to spotlight elk with,along with any other gear used in the commission of this felony.
Hopefully the locals will cuss these dumb asses out every time they go out in public,maybe someone will smack them silly at the local bar.
Poachers disgust me,poachers that leave the animals in the woods to rot disgust me even more.
