"“If you see it, say it!”
When I go to work I always hear the words “If you see it, say it!”. Over the years this has become part of the background and I don’t think about it. With the threats and actions coming out of ISIS it has taken on a new meaning. I tend to think members of ISIS must have crawled out from under a rock, the fact that one of James Foley’s executioners had a British accent was shocking to me. It says to me that ISIS is not confined to the Middle East. So should you see anything suspicious report it. This guidance is directly from a Department of Homeland Security sheet. Quote:“If you see it, say it!”
It can be difficult to determine when to report something suspicious. People most familiar with a given environment are in the best position to determine whether or not something is out of the ordinary. Use common sense, and follow these guidelines:
• Trust your instincts; if something feels wrong, don’t ignore it.
• Do not assume that someone else has already reported it.
• Call local authorities.
• Keep your distance from a suspicious package—do not approach or tamper with it.
When you make a report, be ready to provide your name, your location, a description of what you think is suspicious, and the time you saw it. The responding officer will assess the situation, ensure the area is evacuated and call for appropriate personnel and equipment. Technologies used to assess whether a package contains explosive material may include portable x-ray systems or bomb disposal robots."

The “if you see it say it” that DHS is promoting would be fine if they didn’t consider returning Iraq/Afghanistan vets, preppers,III%ers, militia members, anyone who buys ammo and/or survival supplies with cash to be “domestic terrorists”.
The problem with this program is that DHS wants you to tell them who is a “prepper”,who is a “survivalist”,who is a recently returned vet that’s buying ammo, who is taking courses that train them in firearms use,who is taking a land navigation course, who is taking combat lifesaver/EMT courses-and on and on.
DHS does not differentiate between actual terrorists, and those of us who know damn well that the government/FEMA/DHS/Police/national Guard, etc are simply NOT going to ‘save us” or “protect us” if and/or when there is a major disaster,or any type of SHTF event, and intend to rely on ourselves, and our “tribe” rather than any .gov agency.
We are categorized the same as foreign terrorists such as ISIS.
DHS has never, not once prevented an act of terrorism in the U.S. nor has the TSA.
These fed agencies want people to be dependent on them in any crises, and just blindly accept whatever the DHS/FEMA/police/National Guard troops tell them to do.
What they do not want is for us to take care of ourselves-it’s all about control.
What do you think?
Rely on .gov?
Or...
Rely on yourself and your tribe?
